The first one is much more recent than the second, and i like her more as well. I was hoping to go for like a space company logo or something on the pants, and i'm pleased with myself on the clothing detail i'm getting more into. Naked is good and all, but clothes are a challenge that seem to be fun to take on.

I like the first one, it looks like she's sitting on a head of hair (I know, they're jetpack flames). I also like the details on her trousers.

Clothes are indeed a challenge, I can never get them to fall or fold right.
That's why i usually draw super form fitting clothes. just draw a small wrinkle here and there, and it passes as if you actually tried!
